We came back last week from WordCamp Europe in Kraków, energized by the city’s charm and the European WordPress community. With around 2400 attendees from 81 countries, the chatter around declining participation in WordCamps might be… a hallucination? 😀

The energy on the contributor day was phenomenal, with our fellow rtCamper David Levine leading the Core AI table. Unsurprisingly, the table with most contributors & overall interest.
The WordPress 7.0 “Armstrong” release in May lays the foundation for AI across the entire WordPress experience. Keeping the tradition alive, 60 rtCampers contributed, taking our unbroken streak to 35th consecutive WordPress release. The release landed just ahead of WordPress turning 23.
With extensive work going in the AI space, we released our connectors for OpenRouter, LM Studio, and Universal OpenAI API, connecting your WordPress site with hundreds of AI models. And if you are planning ahead, we can assess your website across five dimensions and build your AI-ready architecture. Start with a free AI Readiness Quickscan. If you want to know more about activating AI capabilities, we have a new chapter laying out how to think about Abilities in WordPress.
Maitreyie Chavan, Director of Client Delivery at rtCamp, shared how our delivery team brings a strategic mindset to every engagement, from discovery and planning to agile delivery and long-term partnership.
If video commerce is on your mind, GoDAM 2.0 is now available for early access. The upcoming release turns video into a commerce channel, making videos shoppable inside WooCommerce stores.
