Do you redesign the whole site, or just specific pages?
Either. Some clients want a full design system rebuilt across every page. Others start with one workflow, like landing pages or a single template, and expand from there. We scope it to what you need.
How long does a design engagement like this take?
Most run a few weeks to a few months, depending on scope. A single template moves faster than a full design system across every page. We’ll give you a timeline after the audit.
What do we actually walk away with?
A component-level design system built for Gutenberg, a governed block library, documented handoff for your developers, and a workflow your editors can publish inside. Plus QA against your live production environment before anything ships.
What’s different about designing for Gutenberg?
Figma lets you design anything. Gutenberg only lets editors do what the blocks allow. Designing for Gutenberg means thinking in those constraints from the first frame and not handing off a comp, hoping it translates.
Will this require us to rebuild our entire WordPress backend?
No. This is a design engagement, not a platform rebuild. If we find deeper issues along the way, like performance or architecture problems, we’ll tell you. That’s a separate conversation, and not something this engagement assumes.
What happens when our brand guidelines change after launch?
The block library updates with them. Because the rules live in the blocks, a brand update means updating the components once. If you’re running multiple brands, OneDesign (the design layer of our open-source multi-brand framework) syncs the change across every site. Editors don’t have to relearn anything.
Will our marketing team be able to use this without training?
We provide training either way, but most teams need less of it than they expect. The block library only offers on-brand options, so there’s less to learn and less room to get it wrong.
